[Hanoi] Chief Financial Officer

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Financial strategy & planning
· Partner with the Chairman/CEO and Board to set financial strategy, capital structure, and long-term investment priorities across Apero's Mobile App and AI App portfolio
· Own budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A across hundreds of products - allocate resources to the highest-return opportunities
· Build and maintain financial models on our in-house FP&A system, supporting decisions from daily OKRs to product portfolio calls and M&A evaluation
· Lead IPO-readiness: build the financial infrastructure, reporting standards, and governance for a public listing within 2-4 years
Financial operations & controls
· Own accounting, tax, treasury, and financial reporting - accurate, timely, compliant with International and Vietnamese standards
· Build and continuously improve financial controls, processes, and systems for a fast-scaling, multi-product organization
· Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury across global entities and revenue streams (ad monetization, IAP, subscriptions)
Fundraising & investor relations
· Drive fundraising and manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial partners
· Prepare and present financial materials for Board meetings, investor updates, and due diligence
· Support evaluation and execution of M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments
Team building
· Build and manage a team of finance, accounting, and FP&A professionals
· Mentor toward a world-class, high-performing finance team
· Represent Apero in local and international forums - exchange knowledge, promote the brand, attract talent
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
· Strong first-principle analytical thinking - able to generate original financial strategies and models rather than follow industry convention by default
· Comfortable with ZIZO (Zoom In Zoom Out) on complex problems, balancing long-term and short-term financial objectives
· Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence business and tech leaders
· 10+ years in finance, accounting, treasury, or investment, with proven leadership in a CFO or senior finance leadership role
Nice to have
· Experience in mobile app, gaming, or digital consumer products
· Experience at a US tech company, a Southeast Asian unicorn, or a similar high-growth company
· Graduate of a world-class university (finance, economics, or related); CPA/CFA is a plus
· Able to work with AI Engineers and build AI automation / AI engineering products
