Mô tả công việc
Provide support services to Ampere Computing's customers for designs utilizing Ampere Computing's 64-bit Arm V8 Processors. This involves working closely with customers on their product designs to facilitate delivery of fully operational Customer Designs with the minimum development time.
❖ Resolve compatibility and platform hardware, firmware and software problems. Perform analysis of reported failures and address implementation issues.
❖ Participate in conference calls working closely with technical program managers, engineers, operations and production teams to ensure timely deliverables and issue resolution.
❖ Work closely with customers during their system bring-up to debug system level issues.
❖ Participate in Ampere Computing's new product definition and contribute towards the development of product collateral.
❖ Travel to customer sites to support platform bring-up and production line contingencies when required.
Yêu cầu
Education/Experience Requirement:
❖BS or equivalent degrees in Electrical Engineering or Computer-related majors, MS preferred
❖Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
Special Skills/Knowledge Required:
❖ Familiar with Server and Workstation hardware and software
❖ Verification experience on processors (PowerPC/Arm/x86/SPARC) is a big plus
❖ CPU architecture knowledge (including multi processors, coprocessors, cache design, coherency and coherent interconnects)
❖ Knowledge of DDR3/4, PCIe, SATA, USB and Ethernet protocols
❖ Hands on experience using the JTAG debuggers, PCIe, SATA and USB Protocol Analyzers, IXIA Traffic Generators, Logic Analyzers and Digital Oscilloscopes
❖ Working experience on Linux and Windows Operating System
❖ Experience with Cadence Allegro design tools, schematic capture, printed circuit board layout and typical lab tools.
❖ Experience with Board Bring-up, BIOS, UEFI and various CLI
❖ Programming experience to include C/C++ and at least one scripting language (Python, TCL and Shell script)
❖ Can do attitude for challenging tasks. Willing to work flexible hours to fit customer schedules, including attending conf calls and remote debugging sessions
❖ Requires excellent written and oral communications skill
