RESPONSIBILITIES:
We're looking for a passionate and creative
Designer Intern who's excited about visual storytelling and eager to learn in a fast-paced retail & e-commerce environment. You'll work closely with the team to bring Guardian's ideas to life across multiple digital platforms.
Support adapting and resizing key visuals to fit different formats and dimensions across Guardian website/app, e-commerce platforms, advertising channels, and social media
Assist in creating and adjusting social posts and short videos based on provided key visuals
Support the development of promotional visuals for products, following available brand and design guidelines
Join brainstorming sessions to ideate and develop visual concepts for monthly campaigns and key initiatives
Organize, manage, and store design files in line with internal standards
Support other ad-hoc design tasks assigned by the Line Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
No prior work experience required - Fresh graduates or 3rd/4th-year students with a strong interest in design, creativity, and digital content are welcome
Confident and proactive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
Quick learner; diligent and meticulous, with a strong eye for detail
Passionate about design, creativity, retail, e-commerce, and social commerce
Basic knowledge of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma, or similar (a plus)
Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months
Portfolio sharing is highly encouraged to demonstrate aesthetic sense in design, layout, and typography (projects can be created using any design tools, including personal or academic work)
