VK Nữ, an initiative by My Holland, CEO of EQuest Asia, is a professional development and networking group for Vietnamese women who identify with a VK (Việt Kiều) element (born/studied/worked overseas). The group aims to provide a safe and inclusive platform for skill-sharing, networking, and meaningful discussions.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Event Intern to help build and nurture the VK Nữ community, foster engagement, and drive initiatives that align with our mission. We have 15 chapters around the world in 8 countries and we expect around 10 - 15 hours a week of coordination for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of VK Nữ's online platforms, including LinkedIn and WhatsApp/ Zalo community groups.
Moderate discussions to ensure they remain constructive, supportive, and aligned with the group's values.
Respond promptly to member inquiries and facilitate connections within the community.
Engagement:
Develop and share engaging content that promotes professional development, skill-sharing, and thought-provoking discussions.
Coordinate with VK Nữ leaders to organize and promote virtual and in-person events such as social lunches/ dinners/ drinks, mentoring program, online & offline workshops, etc.
Highlight success stories and insights from community members to inspire and motivate others.
Member Growth & Retention:
Keep track of membership registration.
Collaborate with VK Nữ leaders to develop strategies to attract new members who align with the community's purpose.
Ensure new members feel welcomed and integrated into the community.
Foster relationships with members to maintain high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
Partnership Development:
Identify and collaborate with partners, sponsors, and advocates who align with VK Nữ's mission.
Liaise with organizations and individuals who promote gender equality and empowerment.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in community management, event coordination, or similar roles is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite).
A demonstrated commitment to gender equality, empowerment, and professional development.
Proficiency in using online platforms, social media, and event management tools.
Creative and proactive in generating ideas for community growth and engagement.
A Việt Kiều background or deep understanding of the Vietnamese diaspora and its unique challenges is a plus.
