JOB DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not a typical Graphic Design role.
At ODM Group, you will design real products, packaging, and branded merchandise used in global marketing campaigns - not just digital visuals. Your work will move beyond the screen into physical production and real-world use.
You will work closely with international teams on a daily basis, so a working level of English is required.
⚠️ Important:
If your experience is primarily in social media or digital-only design, this role is not a fit.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Product & Packaging Design (Core Focus)
Develop concepts for promotional products, gift sets, and branded merchandise
Design packaging systems and product applications
Ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and commercially viable
2. Concept Development & Creative Thinking
Translate campaign ideas into clear product directions
Think beyond visuals - consider usage, experience, and real-world impact
3. Collaboration with Commercial & Production Teams
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising teams
Adapt designs based on client needs, budgets, and production constraints
Refine concepts to align with real manufacturing conditions
4. Supporting Graphic & Content Design (Secondary)
Create supporting materials such as:
Presentation slides
Product spec sheets
Blog images & simple marketing assets
Ensure consistency across product concepts and visual materials
5. Present & Communicate Ideas
Clearly explain your design thinking
Present concepts to internal teams and clients
Iterate based on feedback
YOUR STAKEHOLDERS
Reporting to: Design Lead
Working with:
Sales & Marketing Teams
Merchandising / Production Teams
International teams across regions
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design / Packaging Design or related field
2-5 years of experience in a design role
Strong command of English (equivalent to IELTS 6.5+)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Strong portfolio (required)
YOUR PORTFOLIO MUST SHOW
Packaging, product, or physical design work
Clear thinking process (not just final visuals)
Ability to turn ideas into real-world applications
PLUS POINTS
Hand sketching ability
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and printing methods
NOT A FIT IF YOU
Only design social media content or digital graphics
Rely heavily on templates or basic tools
Prefer execution over concept development
Cannot explain your design decisions
