Role overview
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Good level of English and Vietnamese (equal to IELTS 6.0/Upper Intermediate and above)
Good academic records
Experience as a Teaching Assistant for at least one year or experience of working with children in another relevant role
Good leadership skills
Ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of children
Experience of working as part of a team
Experience of customer service with both children and parents
Good office IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer)
Be available for at least 18 hours of work per week (Weekday & Weekend)
Commitment to work continuously for at least one year
Ability to demonstrate the British Council Behaviours: Working together, Being accountable, Connecting with others and Making things happen (all at essential level)
The applicant needs to be able to prove that he/she has no civil or criminal records of any nature relating to any allegation or conviction concerning any type of harm to a child or children by providing a valid criminal record check issued by the Ministry of Justice after getting the job.
Term of service
This is a non-employment position and a term-based hourly-paid contract. Hourly rate: VND45,000 per hour, together with the experience of a dynamic, international working environment, training, and career development opportunities.
