About the Department
The Technology and Operations function is
comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business
partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and
services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to
support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes
developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as
banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
Job Description:
The Retail Operational
Readiness Officer is tasked with Parameter Maintenance, User Support,
Functional Management and User Testing.
Responsibilities:
Act as
centralized production parameter maintenance of retail application systems
for UOBV.
Provide user
support on functional related queries.
Participate
actively in issue investigation, rectification and recovery of production
incidences with GBT, business & operational users and touchpoints to
ensure timely and effective resolution.
Serve as
functional domain specialists & system data stewards of local retail
application systems (3 key domains including Core Banking, Cards and
Channels)
Be
responsible for local user deliverables including analyzing the functional
changes in projects/CRs and establish the test design and scope, support
training, cutover and post implementation activities and functional
queries.
Review
Functional Specification and Design Test Case.
Centralized
UAT function for local retail applications systems on functional and
regression testing
Responsible
for end to end testing objectives, including analyzing the test scope to
develop the relevant test scripts, managing across different teams to
ensure complete acceptance testing is thoroughly executed before any
system implementation as well as supporting production live verification.
Oversee the
verification of Statements/Advices by RORC before releasing to customers
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
2-3 years of
banking experience.
Bachelor's/University
degree or equivalent experience
Attention to
details.
Good
understanding of banking products, including casa, deposit, cards.
Competent
with MS Office, especially Excel
Fluent in
Spoken and Written English is a plus.
