We seek a talented Intern Game Developer to design and deliver immersive entertainment experiences on the platform Roblox. This role goes beyond gaming-it's about crafting unique, engaging, and interactive worlds that captivate audiences and redefine virtual entertainment. You will collaborate with a diverse team to innovate and bring creative ideas to life for a global audience.
Responsibilities
Work alongside stakeholders (such as artists and
developers) to design and create entertainment-driven experiences in Roblox Studio.
Develop clean, modular Lua scripts that support dynamic and interactive features, ensuring alignment with design goals and platform capabilities.
Optimize the user experience by debugging, testing, and refining mechanics to ensure seamless performance.
Participate in code reviews, exchanging feedback to maintain high technical standards and foster team growth.
Identify and solve unique technical challenges associated with creating diverse entertainment experiences on Roblox.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects by maintaining clear communication and effective collaboration.
Yêu cầu
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Computer Science,
Software Engineering, or related fields.
Proven proficiency in Lua scripting and Roblox Studio
With 1+ years of experience in game or app development, a portfolio demonstrating interactive and entertainment-oriented projects (not limited to games).
Strong understanding of server-client architecture and optimization for multiplayer or interactive environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based setting.
A passion for creating entertainment experiences that push the boundaries of virtual interaction.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of monetization strategies within Roblox, including virtual economies and marketplace features.
Active participation in the Roblox developer community or forums.
Familiarity with crafting non-game interactive experiences (e.g., virtual concerts, social hubs, or educational simulations).
