ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative and motivated Multimedia Artist Intern to join the ASSIST Creativelab
team. In this role, you will help produce visually compelling assets that support our projects and
campaigns - from graphics and illustrations to videos and animations - across print, digital, and social
media platforms.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives on visual storytelling and wants to work on
meaningful projects alongside a collaborative team. You will contribute to day-to-day creative tasks as
well as special initiatives that call for fresh ideas and innovative design thinking.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Content Development
Conceptualize and produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, videos, and animations for use
across multiple platforms - print, digital, and social media.
Collaborate with project teams to translate key messages into engaging visual content that aligns
with project objectives and resonates with target audiences.
Ensure all multimedia materials adhere to organizational branding guidelines, messaging
standards, and partner requirements.
Stay current with creative trends, tools, and technologies to keep content fresh and relevant.
Support or lead special projects requiring elevated creative direction, such as campaign
launches, event branding, and multimedia storytelling initiatives.
Collaboration and Alignment
Coordinate with the Communications & Visibility (C&V) Associate or Creatives Director (CD) and
other internal teams to maintain consistency in design direction, tone, and messaging.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and
project-related initiatives.
Provide input during project planning to ensure multimedia requirements are identified early and
addressed efficiently.
Process, Tools, and File Management
Work with the Communications & Knowledge Management (CKM) Associate to maintain an
organized repository of multimedia files, templates, and project assets.
Observe proper documentation and version control practices for all creative outputs.
Recommend and utilize design tools and software that improve workflow efficiency and output
quality.
Support to Business Units
Partner with Business Units to deliver high-quality visual assets that support their initiatives,
events, and campaigns.
Assist in designing reports, presentations, infographics, and other communication materials that
highlight Business Unit accomplishments and milestones.
Share knowledge of visual storytelling best practices to strengthen Business Unit-led
communications and stakeholder engagement.
Help coordinate with external creative vendors or freelancers when additional production support
is needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Open to Academic Interns (those required by their school or university) or Paid Interns who can
work full-time.
Open to applicants from any educational background, provided they can demonstrate strong skills
in multimedia arts, digital content creation, and visual design. Having knowledge in production is
a plus.
A degree or diploma in Multimedia Arts, Digital Art, Visual Graphics, or a related field is an
advantage.
Proficient in producing various multimedia formats, including graphics, videos, and animations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and
other creative software; familiarity with additional design tools is a plus.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, applying critical thinking to deliver creative solutions
under deadlines.
Collaborative, open-minded, and enthusiastic about working with both internal teams and external
partners.
Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other digital collaboration tools.
