Mô tả công việc
• To support Regional Legal Counsel in legal affairs . These include business and advisory support to the management team, contract drafting review and negotiation in ensuring compliance with local laws.
• Manage in-house Compliance System (CMPS)
• When appropriate, you will need to track and handle compliance issues, conduct intelligence of compliance law changes, conduct compliance training and prepare compliance manuals.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and status
• Provide legal advice/counsel and support on all legal and compliance matters
• Prepare (draft), review and negotiate contracts, MOUs , etc
• Develop, implement and manage legal risk minimization strategies and initiatives
• Manage litigation, arbitration, mediation, etc
Yêu cầu
• Admitted as attorney/lawyer with Lawyer Practice certificate
• At least 5 years as lawyer. Should have experience in law firm and as in-house counsel. It is not necessary that counsel to have worked in MNC or major/international law firm.
• Excellent communications skills and proficient in English (written and oral). Ability to speak Korean will be an added advantage (not compulsory)
• Independent at work and is highly motivated
• Excellent interpersonal skills and is resourceful
• Possess commercial acumen
• Able to manage external counsel (who may be more senior/older than in-house counsel)
• Proficiency in Business and Commercial Law, Contract Law, IP Law, Competition Law, Product Liability Law, Litigation.
• Working knowledge of litigation (both civil and criminal). Although Counsel will not be expected to attend court (as Advocate), he/she should have good knowledge to advise company and instruct/manage external lawyers.
