Our client is a local company, now looking for a Head of Project Management (Structural & Mechanical, $2000, ID21438)
1. End-to-End Project Administration & Operation
Directly lead, organize, and supervise all operations within the Project Management Department to align with organizational targets.
Take over project briefings and documentation from the Sales Division to map out execution strategies.
Formulate integrated master plans covering timeline schedules, human resource allocation, material procurement, factory production phases, site installation, and final sign-off.
Serve as the main coordinator to facilitate seamless collaboration among cross-functional units: Sales, Cost Estimation (Technical-Economics), Procurement & Import-Export, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance (QA/QC), and Site Installation & After-sales Services.
2. Schedule Supervision & Budget Control
Monitor actual field progress closely against committed master timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Identify and raise early warnings regarding risks that could impact schedules, technical quality, target budgets, labor safety, or scope changes.
Review and verify completed work volumes alongside phase-by-phase billing and acceptance documentation.
Propose cost-saving solutions and operational optimizations to enhance overall project financial yields.
3. Engineering & Quality Control
Coordinate with technical teams to evaluate design drawings, technical specifications, and proposed construction methodologies.
Ensure all fabrication and assembly stages strictly adhere to approved engineering files, ISO quality management standards, safety guidelines, and client-specific requirements.
Resolve technical bottlenecks and unexpected field issues arising during factory production, shipping, installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
4. Client Relations & Stakeholder Coordination
Represent the corporation in discussions, negotiations, and daily operations with
Developers, Main Contractors, Supervision Consultants, and related external partners.
Preside over project kick-off sessions, progress reviews, and field dispute resolution meetings.
Build and sustain professional relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Departmental Leadership & Process Governance
Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and manage KPIs of departmental staff (directly overseeing 2 Deputy Heads and 4 Specialists).
Structure training initiatives to mentor and build up the competencies of junior project management personnel.
Develop and standardize operating procedures, workflows, documentation templates, inspection checklists, and departmental KPIs under ISO 9001:2015 guidelines.
