The Opportunity
Reporting into the Senior Advisory Chef based in Ho Chi Minh, some of the incumbent's key accountabilities would include the following but not limited to:
Customer Development
• Development of close working relationships with key customers to clearly understand their needs and then develop technical solutions using Fonterra products that enhance their business.
• Present new recipe/ products to customers, with a focus on Fonterra product advantages.
• Assist the Sales Execution and Demand Creation teams to interact with customers and follow up on technical application commitments that made
Innovation and Technical Training
• Technical responsibility for the Foodservice Division's Innovation Strategy.
• Identification of new recipes and technical solutions for the Vietnam and Cambodia markets from a variety of sources e.g.
o Networking with Key Opinion Leader Chefs/Bakers
o Monitoring Foodservice dairy application trends in other relevant countries that can be adapted into profitable product and solution concepts for Vietnam and Cambodia.
• Responsible for development of all technical solutions and training of the Foodservices team.
Product Testing and Detailing
• Benchmark testing regime established and maintained for all Fonterra and competitive set products.
• Responsible for the setting and continual improvement of professional standards for Fonterra Foodservice product demonstrations and technical detailing.
• Recruitment and training of a team of locally contracted Advisory Chefs.
Yêu cầu
To be considered for this role you should possess:
• At least 6-year experience at the Hot Kitchen Chef level in 5-star hotels, fine dining restaurants or similar level establishments.
• Proven creative ability - able to design, plan and produce cutting edge 5-Star Hotel level Western cuisine for buffet and display cabinets.
• Previous experience in the use of food costing software.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word applications.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
• Able to travel within and outside Vietnam at 20% capacity.
