Mô tả công việc
1. GENERAL PURPOSE
Eensures the smooth operation within Housekeeping Department, including room, laundry, public area, employee's housing and coordination of the various other departments to ensure the optimal profitability and guest satisfaction whilst maintaining hotel standards.
2. MAIN TASKS
Represents the Houskeeping Functions on the Hotel's Executive Committee.
To be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities of Housekeeping Department. Manages all day-to-day operations. Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
Monitors Housekeeping personnel to ensure all guests and internal customers receive prompt and courteous service.
Schedules routine inspections of all Housekeeping areas with the Director of Housekeeping and other supervisory personnel.
Inspects guest and public areas on a regular basis to ensure that the furnishings, facilities, and equipment are clean and in good repair.
To create and admend all standards, procedures of houskepeeping operation to adhere to the hotel's policies and procedures.
Implements and controls Housekeeping procedures that provide for the health and safety of personnel and guests, such as lost and found service, key control, security and emergency procedures and environmental procedures.
Schedules the cleaning of the room carpets, upholstery, and draperies as needed, along with deep cleaning projects and window cleaning as necessary.
Schedules cleaning for lobby area, public restrooms, telephone areas, hallways, entrances, elevators.
Schedules periodic major cleaning projects including carpet shampooing, cleaning of walls and baseboards, cleaning of windows, elevator doors and tracks.
Schedules cleaning of all meeting room after a completed function. Schedules deep cleaning of all meeting rooms on periodic basis including carpet shampooing, cleaning of walls and baseboards, cleaning of windows, etc.
Takes ownership of a guest complaint/problem until it is resolved or it has been addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
Manages day-to-day operations, drives quality, and verifies standards are meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
Establishes and maintains effective human relations and works with human resources to ensure that team members performance is effectively managed.
Provides the leadership, vision and direction to bring together and prioritize the departmental goals in a way that will be efficient and effective.

Yêu cầu
1. Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor' s or College's degree equivalent in Hotel Management or related field
4 years housekeeping / laundry experience preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity and including supervisory experience.
Good knowledge & management in Opera, Smile, PMS..
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
English: good writing and communication skills.
2. Competencies:
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
Strong Leadership skills in managing teams.
Good communication and customer contact skills.
Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations.
Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
Able to handle physically demanding workload.
