Job Purpose
The Human Resources Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities for both local employees and international teaching staff, overseeing expatriate administration and relocation support, and providing operational support for compensation and benefits activities.
This role is particularly suited to HR professionals with experience in international schools or multinational environments, who possess strong knowledge of expatriate employment procedures, including visas, work permits, temporary residence cards, and employee onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
Local Staff Recruitment
Manage the full recruitment cycle for local positions, including academic and non-academic staff.
Coordinate job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical positions.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and recruitment priorities.
Ensure a positive candidate's experience throughout the recruitment process.
International Teacher Recruitment
Coordinate recruitment activities for expatriate teachers and international academic staff.
Source candidates through international recruitment platforms and educational networks.
Arrange interviews with school leadership teams.
Verify qualifications, references, safeguarding documentation, and employment history.
Support contract preparation and pre-employment documentation.
2. Expatriate Management
Manage all expatriate onboarding and relocation processes.
Coordinate and process:
Work Permits
Entry Visas
Temporary Residence Cards (TRC)
Visa renewals and extensions
Work permit renewals and amendments
Immigration compliance documentation
Liaise with relevant government authorities, immigration agencies, and external service providers.
Monitor visa and work permit expiration dates to ensure full compliance.
Maintain accurate expatriate records and documentation.
3. Relocation & Employee Support
Coordinate accommodation arrangements for expatriate employees.
Assist with airport pickups, settling-in support, and local orientation.
Support expatriates and their families with relocation-related matters.
Act as the primary HR contact for expatriate employee queries.
4. HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure HR processes comply with Vietnamese labor laws and school policies.
Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation.
Support HR audits and compliance reviews.
Ensure safeguarding and child protection requirements are met during recruitment and onboarding.
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, Education Management, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of British educational standards and international school operations is desirable.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
At least 2 years of experience in an international school, international education institution, or multinational organization.
Proven experience recruiting both local employees and international teachers.
Demonstrated experience managing expatriate employees and immigration processes.
Hands-on experience processing:
Work Permits
Entry Visas
Temporary Residence Cards (TRC)
Visa renewals and compliance procedures
Experience working within British Curriculum Schools, Cambridge Schools, COBIS-accredited institutions, or international education environments is highly preferred.
Language Skills
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to communicate effectively with international staff, and external stakeholders.
Technical Skills
Strong recruitment and talent acquisition expertise.
In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese labor regulations.
Solid understanding of expatriate employment and immigration procedures.
Experience coordinating visa and work permit applications independently.
Proficiency Microsoft Office applications.
