• To recruit expat managers and teachers. • To provide induction training • To develop, review and improve HR policy and procedures for expat managers and teachers • To take care of expat managers and teachers regarding HR policy and procedures after they join Vinschool • To maintain good relationships with expat managers and teachers and to be a bridge between the company and them.
Job description:
  • Recruitment
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time to hire, cost per hire...)
  • Implement new sourcing methods
  • Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
  • Research and select job advertising options
  • Screen applications and be responsible for the first-round interview
  • Recommend ways to improve the Vinschool employer brand
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and line managers about changes in regulations
  • Participate in job fairs and career events
  • Responsible for reference check, offer letter and contract composing for successful candidates
  • Build the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
  • Welfare
  • Provide induction and orientation training for new employees
  • Ensure staff are aware of and understand Vinschool Rules and Regulations, as well as related work procedures
  • Help teachers to settle down in Vietnam, ensuring they have information regarding relocation and transition to Vietnam
  • Support employees through the work permit (WP) procedure and make sure the visa and WP process run smoothly
  • Supervise monthly salary payments to expat employees and respond to their questions (if any)
  • Coordinate the performance appraisal process including probation appraisal, annual appraisal and end-of-contract appraisal
  • Conduct individual meetings periodically with expat managers and teachers to understand their needs and concerns and help them to find solutions for their problems
  • Review benefit package and propose the revision if necessary
  • Consult on new and existing policy; participate in developing and revising Teacher Handbook
  • Directly involve in disciplinary cases, following disciplinary procedures
  • Provide ongoing support to teachers on their welfare issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent English skills;
  • Background and experience in education preferred;
  • Genuine interest in the field of HR and strong curiosity in learning about other cultures;
  • People oriented and results driven;
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics;
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases;
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company;
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
