JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the company's HSE management system to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. Partnering with all departments to establish robust safety principles, prevent incidents, and drive continuous improvement through systems thinking and data-driven decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Environmental Management - Main Focus 70%
Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Environmental Management System in compliance with applicable Vietnamese environmental regulations and international standards.
Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental legal requirements, including environmental permits, environmental registration, waste management, wastewater, emissions, hazardous substances, and chemical management.
Manage and control hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including classification, storage, transportation, and disposal.
Monitor and analyze environmental parameters such as wastewater, air emissions, noise, waste, and other environmental aspects.
Coordinate environmental monitoring, inspections, audits, and reporting to relevant authorities.
Prepare and maintain environmental reports, legal documents, records, and compliance documentation.
Identify environmental risks and aspects, assess their impacts, and develop appropriate control measures.
Lead environmental improvement projects, including waste reduction, energy saving, resource efficiency, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Conduct internal environmental audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
2. Health & Safety Management
Support the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health & Safety Management System in compliance with applicable legal requirements and ISO 45001.
Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement appropriate control measures.
Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
Support the management of occupational health, workplace conditions, emergency preparedness, and safety training.
Organize and coordinate HSE training, including fire prevention, chemical safety, PPE, emergency response, and workplace safety.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor the proper use of PPE and compliance with company HSE procedures.
Support emergency drills and maintain emergency response plans.
3. HSE System & Compliance
Develop and maintain HSE procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, and relevant documentation.
Ensure compliance with HSE legal requirements and customer requirements.
Support internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
Prepare regular HSE performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
Promote a strong HSE culture and environmental awareness throughout the organization.
