Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a HSE Supervisor (Construction/ MEP, $950, ID 12690):
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
Site Supervision: Monitor daily occupational health, safety, and environmental practices at construction sites; investigate, control, and report all near-misses, incidents, and accidents.
Team Leadership: Supervise, assign clear tasks, and monitor the performance of site Safety Officers (An toàn viên).
PPE Management: Track the procurement, distribution, inventory, and correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on site.
HSE Induction: Conduct initial safety orientation and training programs for newly onboarded staff and laborers.
Subcontractor Training: Organize and deliver routine safety training, toolbox talks, and re
fresher sessions for construction teams and sub-contractors.
Policy Development: Establish, document, and update safety procedures, guidelines, and internal health and safety regulations.
Equipment Compliance: Manage and maintain records of periodic safety inspections and statutory certifications for heavy machinery and high-risk equipment.
Risk Mitigation: Perform Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and hazard assessments to implement preventive actions; communicate external safety alerts and lessons learned to workers.
Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date personnel records, credentials, and safety profiles of all workers on site.
Fire Fighting and Prevention (FFP)
Manage, inspect, and maintain site fire fighting systems and emergency equipment in strict compliance with fire prevention laws.
Design, schedule, and lead periodic fire-safety training sessions and coordinate emergency evacuation/fire drill simulations.
General & Administrative Duties
Develop the comprehensive annual HSE plan and execute it upon approval.
Draft, issue, and archive official HSE documents, policies, internal rules, and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to enforce compliance with site safety, fire safety, and industrial sanitation guidelines.
Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and local authorities to establish swift solutions in the event of emergencies or regulatory audits.
Gender: Male. Age: 27 - 35 years old.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety, Civil/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical fields.
3 to 5 years of solid experience in an HSE Supervisor or equivalent safety management role within industrial factory construction companies.
Proven hands-on experience in site safety supervision, specifically in high-risk operations including lifting/rigging, scaffolding, confined spaces, hot work, electrical installations, and equipment positioning.
Comprehensive knowledge of safety management in occupational safety, environmental hygiene, fire prevention, and annual planning.
Standards & Laws: Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Certifications (Preferred): Highly preferred if the candidate holds certified training in Fire Fighting & Prevention (PCCC), First Aid, or Group 2 Safety Trainer.
