HSE Supervisor

I. Duties and responsibilities:
1. Training & Awareness
• Conduct induction training for new workers and deliver specific HSE training programs as required.
• Carry out daily Toolbox Talks to reinforce safety awareness.
2. Documentation & Records
• Check, record, and maintain all HSE-related documents for the project.
• Verify and record manpower and equipment details; issue entry passes when appropriate.
• Monitor and record the project's Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Prepare and submit internal and external reports related to Health, Safety, and Environment.
3. Site Safety Management
• Perform daily site safety inspections and ensure good housekeeping across the worksite.
• Identify, report, and support the resolution of unsafe actions and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate HSE rules, procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Provide HSE advice and guidance to subcontractors' site engineers and staff.
• Issue penalty notice to contractors who violate safety regulations on construction sites.
4. Equipment & Waste Control
• Inspect heavy equipment and electrical equipment before first use on site and periodically thereafter.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure proper collection, handling, and disposal of all types of waste.
5. Emergency Preparedness & Coordination
• Actively participate as a member of the emergency rescue team.
• Join periodic internal and external HSE meetings to review performance and address issues.
• Take part in weekly site safety patrols, prepare patrol reports, and ensure closure of identified issues.
6. Other Duties
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the HSE Manager.
