We are looking for a competent Health, Safety, Security and Environment Manager to lead and direct the HSSE department, in ways that support CICT's strategy.
We want candidates that are proven leaders with a solid HSSE background, and to ability to make their mark on the organization.
The HSSE Manager has a leadership role with high accountability and reports to CICT's General Management
Principal Accountabilities
• Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's strategy related to safe and secure operations.
• Set and execute the strategic direction of the department, aligned with the overall business plan and strategy.
• Provide support and guidance to HSSE personnel, other functions and visitors regarding HSSE matters.
• Recommend solutions and advise management on significant HSSE issues and HSSE compliance failures.
• Create a safety-culture and HSSE-mindset amongst all employees.
• Maintain key contacts with relevant associations, port authorities and other government agencies.
Yêu cầu
1. Education and experience
• University degree in business administration, engineering or related field.
• Professional qualification in HSSE field (Fire & Safety, Environmental, Quality etc.)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSSE management is required, preferably from port operations or similar industrial environment.
• Proven leadership and management skills
2. Knowledge and skills
• Bi-lingual Vietnamese and English, verbal and written.
• Advanced Vietnamese and English communication skills.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Security and Environment regulations (national and international) and experience working with local authorities on relevant matters.
• Thorough understanding of international HSSE standards.
• Familiar with incident investigation and management.
• Able to work effectively with all levels of employees, from entry level employees to senior management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and urgency.
• Able to document and develop procedures, processes and policies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Expectations
• Review and strengthen HSSE policies at CICT and ensure these are stringently being followed, despite operational considerations, without compromising safety and security at the terminal.
• Enforce safe working practices and avoid lost time incidents.
• Develop and promote a proactive HSSE culture through relevant HSSE programs.
• Implement the group's 'Home Safe' program.
• Organize and deliver adequate HSSE training/induction to all employees and visitors.
• Represent the company with local government organizations related to HSSE and work in a cooperative partnership.
• Conduct facility audits to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow-up to ensure measures have been implemented.
• Lead accident/incident investigation and reporting.
• Ensure that all safety, security and environmental issues are managed as per applicable regulation.
• Constantly improve HSSE procedures to heighten HSSE awareness.
• Be a role model with regards to HSSE - 'Walk the Talk'
