About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager to lead the people function at a growing commercial company in food service and food ingredients. This role is split across talent acquisition, HR operations, and C&B - suited to an HR generalist with strong recruitment experience and ideally a background in food, specialty ingredients, or performance materials.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (50%)
- Own the full recruitment cycle for commercial, technical, and operations roles (
technical sales, supply chain, back office).
- Build and maintain talent pipelines in food service, food ingredients, performance materials, and specialty products.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job profiles, set timelines, and run structured interviews.
- Manage employer branding, agency relationships, and recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, source effectiveness).
HR Generalist (40%)
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: contracts, probation, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and offboarding.
- Maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with Vietnamese Labour Law.
- Support line managers on performance management, goal setting, and development planning.
- Handle employee relations matters and act as a trusted advisor to both management and staff.
- Maintain HRIS data and provide regular HR reporting to senior management.
Compensation & Benefits (10%)
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with Finance; ensure accuracy of salaries, allowances, and SHUI deductions.
- Administer benefits programmes and conduct periodic compensation benchmarking in the food/ingredients sector.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a recruitment-focused role.
• Proven ability to recruit for commercial and technical roles in a B2B or trading environment.
• Experience in food service, food ingredients, performance materials, or specialty products is strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Vietnamese Labour Law, SHUI, and PIT compliance.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office / Google Workspace.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-starter comfortable operating in a lean HR team.
