I&C Engineer (For Thermal Power Plant in Ha Tinh)

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for installation, programming, troubleshooting, upkeep and repair of plant control systems and components of all technologies (pneumatic, electric, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, etc.) including data collection, transmission, and processing within plant sensors, devices, computers, and control systems in the control room and elsewhere in the plant. Responsible for calibrating all meters, transmitters, gauges, flowmeters, and other electrical and pneumatic devices. Responsible for maintenance of the plant's DCS system and other control loops for plant processes including TCS. Works closely with operations staff and other plant engineers. Maintain manuals, procedures, historical information, CMMS and inspection records ensuring adequate update. Assist in other areas of the plant as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Perform maintenance duties in a safe, environmentally friendly and workmanlike manner.
• Based on experience, equipment history and O&M manuals establish scope, frequency and method for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on I&C and related control equipment.
• Specify and procure I&C spares and services as required.
• Supervise work on attributed system ensuring safe, effective and efficient implementation of work method statement.
• Prepare, maintain and update documentation, reports and CMMS as required.
• Perform other comparable and related duties as assigned.
