IE Engineer (Lean, Manufacturing)

Job Description
· Take overall responsibility for Industrial Engineering (IE) activities across factories/sites in Vietnam.
· Optimize overall factory layouts, including the flow and movement of personnel and materials.
· Work closely with the Facility/Project team and relevant departments to design layouts for new factories/buildings.
· Identify opportunities to optimize resources, particularly direct labor (DL HC) and space utilization, and drive the implementation of improvement initiatives.
· Support IE teams at operating units in layout and direct labor (DL HC) optimization initiatives.
· Drive and support the implementation of IE standards, tools, and systems across different operating units.
· Establish DIY workshops to support operating units in designing and assembling ergonomic workstations, material handling carts/trays, and other equipment.
· Optimize warehouse space utilization and reduce manpower requirements.
· Provide training to IE teams at operating units and functional departments on various IE tools and techniques.
· Establish IE KPIs and develop mechanisms for KPI monitoring and continuous improvement.
· Analyze unit costs and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Required working experience
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering (IE).
· Proven experience in Plant Layout Optimization, Resource Optimization, Direct Labor (DL HC) & Space Optimization.
· Experience in implementing IE Standards, IE Tools/Techniques, and IE KPIs.
· Experience in managing, training, and developing IE/Lean teams.
Required qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or above in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Required languages
· Good communication skills in English
Required knowledge and skills
· Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, VSM, Kaizen, 5S, and Visual Management.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
· Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint for reporting, and Word for document preparation.
· Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, proactiveness, and communication skill
