This position is responsible for implementing 6S and continuous improvement in the company.
Responsibilities
1. 6s:
Set up, execute, and improve the 6S standard
Join 6S activities: audit, report 6S results, and provide feedback to stakeholders
6S training
Standardize and improve tools and equipment based on observation of worker motion and benchmark ergonomics.
Visual control design and control Workstation layout standard
2. Kaizen program: Build a continuous improvement culture.
Review kaizen idea
Kaizen training, Lean tool training
Gemba walk: Work in the production environment, understand worker difficulties, and propose solutions to increase effectiveness.
Join Kaizen propaganda activities: Introduce and engage employees to know about Kaizen and know how to execute Kaizen.
Follow up to encourage Kaizen execution: Periodically review progress, report, and give feedback to the Kaizen committee.
Advise the department leaders on how to evaluate Kaizen ideas Evaluate the idea's benefit (with the finance team).
3. Lean application:
Improvement project: based on company pain points, analyze the process, identify bottlenecks, suggest solutions, and drive execution
Process WIP control
Incentive: Train worker/leader about incentive, evaluate incentive result, and use incentive to drive production performance
4. Company propaganda
Prepare for customer visit and management team visit
