The Inside Sales Specialist acts as the commercial owner for assigned existing customers in Vietnam and handles inquiries/RFQs from overseas agents. This role is directly accountable for revenue, profit margin, customer retention, and business growth within the managed portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Ownership & Quotation
Maintain and develop commercial relationships with assigned customer portfolios.
Handle inquiries, RFQs, spot quotes, monthly rates, and long-term quotations.
Consult with customers to propose optimal logistics solutions, cost optimization, and cross-selling opportunities.
Ensure all internal approvals (pricing, credit terms, service feasibility) are secured before execution.
2. Coordination & Execution
Act as the primary Sales interface connecting customers with internal Product teams (Procurement, Pricing, CS, Documentation) and overseas agents.
Create, update, and brief relevant stakeholders on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and special customer requirements.
Coordinate with the Billing team for accurate invoicing; support AR collection and follow up on overdue payments.
Handle ad-hoc requests, rate discrepancies, cargo claims, or service failures to maintain high customer satisfaction.
3. Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate updates of customer profiles, sales records, and documentation in the system.
Monitor market trends, review customer demand, and track volume/revenue performance.
Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and drive continuous improvement actions.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Foreign Trade, International Business, or related fields.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Ocean Freight, or Air Freight sectors.
Hands-on experience in executing operational procedures, bookings, documentation, and maritime/aviation insurance systems.
Skills & Competencies
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Intermediate English proficiency or above (capable of working with international agents and handling global RFQs).
Knowledge of an additional language (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) is a plus.
Strong verbal/written communication and active listening skills.
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer-oriented mindset.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work well under pressure.
