General information

University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) is a public university established in 2009 according to the Intergovernmental Agreement between Vietnam and France with the orientation to become an excellent university majoring in science and technology.
The university belongs to the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the leading research institution in Vietnam. In addition, the University also receives strong support from the Consortium of more than 40 French universities and research organizations. The university is proud to be a symbol of higher education and research cooperation between Vietnam and France.

Tasks

Assist in organizing and participating in the meetings with domestic and international delegations, partners of the University, signing ceremonies and other events taken charge by the International Cooperation Dept.
Be responsible for preparing documents for foreign experts and their families entering Vietnam to work, deliver lectures and research at the University; working with State agencies to deal with entrance and exit procedures for foreign experts and their families.
Coordinate and implement short-term international exchange programs, including

Work with units/departments and partners of the University to explore needs, collect information about exchange and cooperation possibilities;
Develop implementation plans and supporting documents for exchange and cooperation programs;
Conduct activities related to international exchange (make an announcement, receive applications, hold a selection committee meeting, and provide Visa support...);
Collect, make statistics and report on international cooperation databases (cooperation agreements, incoming and outgoing delegations, international conferences, workshops and international projects);

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Department Head and the Rector Board

Requirements

Having Bachelor's degree in international relations, education, foreign language, business administration or related majors;
Being fluent in French (Knowing English is an advantage);
Having experience in entrance - exit procedure for foreigners is preferable;
Being good at communication and negotiation
Having experience in teamwork and working in multicultural/multilingual environment;
Being good at task management;
Capacity for working independently, actively, flexibly and concentrate.
