IT Cyber Security Analyst

Structerre is a member of Five Group. The IT Cyber Security Analyst supports the IT Security and Compliance Manager in ensuring appropriate mitigation of IT risks, specifically providing business as usual security functions within the IT team.
You will play an important part in growing the Five Group's cyber security maturity, making recommendations for improvements in line with the Five Group's architecture principles, technology roadmap and cyber security roadmap, as well as designing and implementing some of those recommendations.
The role works both autonomously and within a geographically dispersed team to deliver IT services improvements and management.
Work within the IT Security team to provide The Five Group with IT security services:
• Security:
o Monitor security systems and respond to security alerts
o Respond to and take the lead for security incidents
o Understand business security framework and advise on policies and changes that can impact those
o Keep informed of security industry information, best practice & alerts to provide the business with information on cyber security & actions required as a result
o Work with IT team members to maintain a live company security posture assessment
o Work with security vendors to resolve issues relating to security infrastructure.
o Work with the IT Security Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer to maintain the IT division risk register.
o Advise IT team on security issues and working with the Security and Compliance Manager, help build awareness of security issues and principals within the IT team
o Work with your manager and the IT team to provide accurate & timely security incident reporting
• General
o Liaise with internal and external stakeholders where required (in-house legal, HR teams, vendors, staff)
o Maintain relevant policies, procedures, standards, tools, techniques, guidelines and registers related to IT GRC
o Continually strive to improve your IT knowledge & experience
• Other duties as required.
