1. IT Operations & Support
• Ensure the smooth operation of all local IT functions and engage in effective incident management.
• Provide day-to-day
IT support for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain local IT infrastructure, including network devices and end-user equipment.
• Act as the first point of contact for IT incidents when the ServiceDesk is unable to resolve issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Global IT team when required and ensure timely communication.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. System Deployment & Device Management
• Deploy, configure, and manage devices through Microsoft Intune, including compliance policies and application deployment.
• Support Windows Autopilot provisioning for seamless device setup and lifecycle management.
• Manage user and device identities via Microsoft Entra and AD, ensuring security and proper role-based access control.
• Ensure all endpoints meet company security and compliance baselines as defined by Global IT.
• Conduct periodic reviews of device configurations, security posture, and compliance reports.
3. Global Standards & Cybersecurity Compliance
• Ensure compliance with global IT standards, policies, and procedures.
• Deploy and maintain systems, tools, and updates as defined by the Global IT team.
• Adhere to global cybersecurity and compliance guidelines.
• Support global audits, risk assessments, and remediation plans.
• Localize global initiatives (e.g., translations, adapting to local regulatory requirements).
4. User Education & Communication
• Educate local users about global IT systems, tools, and security practices.
• Provide training during system rollouts and upgrades.
• Serve as a key contact between local users and Global IT for feedback, communication, and service alignment.
5. Asset & Vendor Management
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software.
• Ensure proper lifecycle management and license compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and external parties for procurement, warranty claims, and repairs as directed by Global IT.
6. Server Room & Network Management
• Maintain the physical and environmental conditions of the local server room (e.g., temperature, humidity, and cleanliness).
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all hardware (servers, storage, switches) operates optimally.
• Ensure proper cabling, labeling, and documentation for all server room equipment.
• Manage UPS and backup power systems, testing them periodically.
• Implement and maintain access control and other security measures to protect the server room.
7. Budgeting & Reporting
• Support Capex & Opex budget management.
• Forecast and plan IT spending for projects, upgrades, and operations.
• Provide regular IT reports and budget updates to both local management and Global IT.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proficiency in supporting Microsoft operating systems and enterprise collaboration tools.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, AD, and Microsoft Entra.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals and routing protocols.
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware, network devices, and using global ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in English.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and customer service mindset.
• Project management skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of software licensing, local IT compliance, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Understanding of data privacy laws, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
• Knowledge of server room design, cooling systems, power management, and equipment lifecycle management.
