IT Security Leader

I. JOB SUMMARY
IT Security Leader to design, implement, and oversee our organization's comprehensive information security strategies. This critical role will lead initiatives to protect our data, systems, and networks from evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of security principles, risk management frameworks, technical expertise, and the ability to build and inspire a security-conscious culture across the organization.
II. MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategic Development: Architect, implement, and maintain a robust information security program aligned with business goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.).
• Risk Management: Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to proactively identify potential threats, develop mitigation strategies, and prioritize security initiatives.
• Incident Response: Create and oversee incident response plans; lead investigations and forensics for security breaches, ensuring timely remediation and communication.
• Security Architecture: Design and continuously enhance secure network architecture, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and data security solutions.
• Compliance: Ensure organizational compliance with relevant security standards and regulations; track emerging regulatory changes and their implications.
• Awareness and Training: Develop and implement security awareness programs for all employees; conduct regular training on best practices and emerging threat vectors.
• Prepare the regular or unexpected reports as requests from the manager.
