RESPONSIBILITY:
The
IT Specialist is responsible for the effective functioning and maintenance of all IT systems and infrastructure within the school. This includes managing network systems, providing technical support to users, ensuring data security, and exploring new technologies to enhance teaching and learning. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong understanding of network administration, hardware and software troubleshooting, and a passion for supporting the school's technology needs.
Key Performance Areas:
1. Network Administration:
• Manage, operate, and maintain the school's LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, server, telephone system, and security cameras.
• Ensure the network operates stably, securely, and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues.
• Update and upgrade the network system as needed.
2. User Support:
• Provide technical support to teachers, students, and staff in using computers, software, and IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and repair computers, printers, projectors, and other peripheral devices.
• Guide users on using office applications, learning software, and other applications.
• Answer user inquiries and support requests.
3. Website and Information System Management:
• Manage and update the school's website content.
• Manage student, teacher, and staff information systems.
• Ensure information security and data confidentiality.
4. Research and Application of New Technologies:
• Research and propose the application of new technologies in the school's teaching and management activities.
• Participate in the implementation of the school's IT projects.
• Bachelor's/College degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience required. Previous experience of working in an international school is desired yet not essential.
• Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Skills and ability:
• Good communication skill (verbal & written) in English & Vietnamese.
• Good understanding of network systems, server administration, and information security.
• Proficient in computer hardware and software repair and installation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly responsible, enthusiastic, careful, and proactive.
