Java Backend Developer Java 17+, Spring Boot, English

WHAT YOU WILL LOVE DOING
You will work on enterprise-grade platforms across industries such as Real Estate, Facility Management, Healthcare, MedTech, and Insurance.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven services with Kafka.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design discussions.
• Apply Clean Code, SOLID principles, and Java Design Patterns in daily development.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and Agile ceremonies.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a Scrum/SAFe environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues as part of 3rd level support.
• Support automated testing practices including TDD and integration testing.

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience in Java software development.
• 3+ years of experience with Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL databases.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and modern web application development.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Liquibase, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and SonarQube.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Playwright, or WireMock.
• Solid understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, Design Patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Good communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Nice to have:

• Experience with DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, Multi-Tenancy Architecture, or ARC42.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Kafka, Liquibase, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with TDD, Pair Programming, and enterprise software architecture.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
