We're looking for a skillful Java Developer who will support our client in the development of new software applications from concept to finish, with regular tests and maintenance, while also recommending solutions for improvements.
The position is open for a top provider of supply chain compliance solutions that help more than 15,000 brands, retailers, and importers to secure, manage and optimize their global network of goods.
With the help of a SaaS platform intended for quality control companies, our client offers smart solutions to make products that consumers can trust. This benchmark player - the first of its kind in this sector - is using on-the-ground experts to provide services such as quality inspections, supplier audits, certification, and lab testing.

• More than 3 years of experience in Java (Java 11) and Spring;
• Knowledge of developing algorithms and web services;
• Deep knowledge of software architecture;
• Experience with RESTful API integration on the backside;
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration or willingness to get into Test Driven Development;
• Experience in cloud development will make onboarding easier: Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure, or other;
• Understanding of Agile/ SCRUM principles;
• Good logical thinking & problem-solving skills;
• Good at English;
• French is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining the client's SaaS platform;
• Create and deploy elegant, scalable, and functionally rich web/mobile applications;
• Collaborate with the Product Management and UX/UI Design team to understand the functional and technical needs of clients;
• Develop high-performance, fault-tolerant systems that can withstand peak loads;
• Develop standardized and documented APIs: REST FTW.;
• Participate in the creation of web / mobile applications PWA: offline, mobile-first;
• Analyze metrics to provide system status visibility;
• Automate the deployment processes and take responsibility for maintaining the platform in operational conditions (the client has built a healthy and growing DevOps culture).
