• Create accurate, production-ready CAD models for engagement rings, wedding bands, and custom fine jewelry.
• Interpret client requests, sketches, inspiration images, and specifications into manufacturable designs.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and production requirements.
• Maintain organized records of designs and revisions for future reference.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.
• Assist in troubleshooting design issues during the production process.
**this is a REMOTE job opportunity (Headoffice is in Toronto, Canada)
**candidates are expected to work in EST from 9:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday
Yêu cầu
• Expertise in Rhino / Matrix / MatrixGold/Zbrush (or equivalent jewelry CAD platforms)
• Minimum 5 years jewelry CAD experience (experience in manufacturing environment is preferred)
Strong understanding of:
• stone settings (solitaire, halo, pave, bezel, channel, prong work)
• tolerance, structural integrity and manufacturing considerations
• experience preparing STL files for production / printing
• Ability to produce clean, precise, and manufacturable CAD files
**Experience designing engagement rings is a BIG advantage
