Scope of Responsibility:
The Logistics Analytics Leader is responsible for coordinating the logistics and warehousing operations across the Australian and New Zealand businesses. This includes working closely with our 3PL partner(s) to ensure efficient operation of our warehousing operations to meet the relevant Colgate standards, as well as the logistics providers that service our customers.
An element of the role will be to monitor and report on costs, compliance, and efficiency KPIs, including development and application of analytics tools to help drive improvement in our cost to serve, and customer service levels.
The Logistics / Analytics Leader will ensure the development of our eCommerce offering is in line with our growing customer needs and global trends.
Key activities include:
- 3PL Relationship Coordination - Support the relationship with 3PL provider(s) ensuring the national warehouse operations are meeting day to day requirements of our inbound receipts & outbound customer deliveries
- Leveraging Systems & Analytics - Utilising supply chain systems and tools for logistics and cost management for transacting and reporting within standard global applications. Identifying through analytics opportunities for efficiency and service improvement.
- Partnerships & Collaboration - Partnering with key customers and logistics providers to ensure the company is meeting supplier expectations to improve service and in turn, reduce costs. Strengthening collaboration across the Supply Chain functions to drive agility, responsiveness and End-To-End execution.
- Effective Execution - Coordinate daily logistics operation, ensuring that customer service objectives are achieved, including on time delivery. Monitor the performance of 3PL partners to ensure performance against KPIs. Work closely with 3PL to implement/ sustain warehouse quality standards, conduct self assessments, and audits.
- Inbound Freiga both land and sea cost components searching for alternative options to reduce cost or transit time.
- Coordinate SP CS&L FTG program - Maintain FTG project database, supporting delivery of target by managing ideation sessions and or other means of maintaining focus. Validate savings projects and ensure timely delivery.
Key interfaces are Order 2 Invoice, Customer Engagement, Supply and Demand Planning, and Vendor Replenishment Planning teams.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration; B.S. in Engineering, Finance, Logistics or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Consumer Goods experience in Warehousing and Logistics. Previous experience in Supply or Demand Planning, Manufacturing, or Finance highly regarded
