Samples and SMS development
**Manage customer's request for samples or SMS product development:
• Monitor seasonal calendars and ensure styles are buy-ready & on time to meet deliveries dates
• Liaison with suppliers in China and Vietnam for ordering fabrics and trims as required to meet schedule
• In charge of liaising with manufactoring factories to book capacity to produce samples
• Make the trim card sheets and work with designer to clarify all technical aspects for sample room to follow up and correct sample as tf from buyer
• Coordination with Designers + Pattern Maker + Sewing team to set up the production samples' calendar and meet deadline
• Liaise with QC team to ensure samples are checked and are compliant in every details and measuring
• In charge of booking courrier to ship samples to customers
**Costing of products:
• Check the tf and document and Make the Open Cost sheet to prepare for quotation
• Work with the rest of the team to gather all necessary informations (trims and fabric costs / consumption...) to deliver an accurate open cost per product
• Work and liaise closely with our partner factories to get their FOB or CMPT quotations in the best delays in order to finalise quotations for customers
**Administrative part:
• Responsible for gathering all related invoices and pass them to accounting department
Bulk Production Follow Up
**Manage bulk production life cycle with China and / or Vietnam suppliers up to the shipment:
• Work closely with factories in order to ensure they fully and accurately understand requirements for all tech packs, time lines, pricing, packaging, testing, delivery deadlines, quality standards and compliance.
• Responsible for providing customer's guidelines to factories and monitoring their strict application during the whole bulk production process.
• Ensure with suppliers that bulk yardage, accessories and trims are delivered on time to ensure agreed delivery date is met
• Follow up all requested samples and on time delivery
• Liaise with the sample room and technical designer to get the sample checked and responsible for putting together the report and for sending it to the customer
• Liaise between factories and qc 3rd party to ensure all garments' quality requirements are met during inline and final check
• Update production plan status daily in order for Managers to easily review and bring support when needed
• Daily report to top managers
**Administrative and Reporting part:
• Responsible for daily updating of the detailed production planning
• Monitoring of all delivery related issues and responsible for execution and weekly updates in writing and ensure timely and accurate information is given to the Management team.
• Follow up with other members of the team in charge of documentation, shipping and logistics issues, to ensure on time ex-factory and boarding of vessel.
