ABOUT THE ROLE
• Preparing accurate, consistent design and technical drawings as part of a small working team.
• Following company standards and codes of practise in Architectural/ Interior design.
• Receiving and understanding detailed markup from project architects and ensuring accurate and careful implementation.
• Taking responsibility for the drawings, being aware of any problems or mistakes.
• Notifying senior staff of design problems or ideas for improvement of the buildings.
• Working well with team members in a relaxed but professional environment.
• Checking architectural drawings and markup to ensure they are correct.
• Manage your own time to complete tasks to deadline or communicate any issues.
• To manage projects to initiate and develop concepts from starting point through to build reality.
• To visualize design ideas in Archicad/ Revit, Photoshop, Sketchup, and/or other suitable media.
• To prepare presentations for client, consultant and/or relevant parties.
• To make presentations and hold coordination meetings with clients and other consultants.
• To work with the 3D Visual Team to develop a concept sketch into a developed 3D design.
• To be able to produce detail drawings for production of the interiors package.
• To specify suitable and international standard material finishes.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills
Senior applicants will be expected to contribute to the DKO culture and help foster the growth of staff. Suitable candidates will have proven experience demonstrating their capability.
