Position summary
The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the entire financial, accounting, and tax operations for Chutex Long An factory. This role ensures full compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards, local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate governance standards. The incumbent will manage the accounting team, oversee payroll for a large-scale manufacturing workforce, optimize cost control, manage cash flow, and serve as the main liaison with external tax authorities, customs agencies, auditors, and financial institutions.
Job Responsibilities
1 Oversee full-spectrum financial accounting, general ledger, fixed assets, cost accounting, and closing processes (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards and Chutex reporting standards. 30%
2 Lead tax planning, reporting, declaration, and settlement (CIT, PIT, VAT, FCT). Represent the company during internal, external audits and tax inspections. 25%
3 Supervise manufacturing cost calculations, BOM control, and payroll structure. Monitor budget execution and perform financial variance analysis. 20%
4 Manage working capital, bank transactions, trade finance (LC, TT), foreign exchange exposure, and relationships with financial institutions. 15%
5 Lead, train, and mentor the accounting department; streamline accounting processes and optimize accounting software capabilities. 10%

Key Accountabilities
1 Accuracy, timely delivery, and compliance of all statutory financial statements and tax filings in accordance with Vietnamese laws and Chutex policies.
2 Effective financial risk management and ensuring zero material non-compliance penalties from tax, labor, or regulatory bodies.
3 Optimization of manufacturing cost tracking, accurate valuation of inventory, and strict control of production overheads.
4 Smooth execution and verification of monthly payroll, social insurance, and tax.
5 Maintenance of clean audit trails and maintaining strong working relationships with banks, tax officers, and external auditors.
