Molex Vietnam has been operating its first factory at Thang Long Industrial Park I since 2007. Currently, Molex is investing in a NEW FACTORY located at Thang Long Industrial Park II, Hung Yen province, with a total investment of approximately 145 million USD, covering an area of 100,000 m2 and divided into 3 phases. This factory will produce high-tech products, such as high-speed cables and optical devices.
Primary Purpose:
The Automated Test Engineer is responsible for performing electrical testing and supporting high-speed test systems used in the production of high-speed cable assemblies (e.g., Ethernet, Infiniband, Fibre Channel, PCIe, SAS, SATA).
Key Test functions/features:
1. Electrical Performance
• Insertion Loss (IL): Signal loss when transmitted through the cable.
• Return Loss (RL): Signal reflection due to impedance mismatch.
• Crosstalk (NEXT, FEXT): Interference between wire pairs within the same cable.
• Impedance Matching: Ensuring nominal impedance (typically 85Ω or 100Ω).
• Skew: Time delay difference between wire pairs.
2. Signal Integrity
• Eye Diagram: Evaluates signal clarity (noise, jitter, distortion).
• Jitter Analysis: Measures timing variations of the signal.
• Bit Error Rate (BER): The rate of bit errors during transmission.
