JOB SUMMARY
The Test Lab Engineer will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced imaging equipment, including CT (Computed Tomography) scanners and SEM-EDS (Scanning Electron Microscope with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy), to analyze lithium-ion cells. This role supports internal structure inspection and detailed electrode material analysis to aid in cell development, failure analysis, and quality assurance
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
Operate and maintain CT scanner and SEM-EDS equipment for structural and electrode material analysis of lithium-ion cells.
Perform imaging and elemental analysis using SEM-EDS to assess electrode surface morphology and composition.
Conduct CT scans to visualize internal cell structure and detect defects or abnormalities.
Analyze and interpret imaging and spectroscopy data to support R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
Document procedures and results thoroughly, ensuring traceability and compliance with lab standards.
Ensure periodic calibration and preventive maintenance of lab instruments.
Promote and adhere to safety protocols in all lab operations.
Train and support team members in related subjects of reliable test labs
Yêu cầu
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Material Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or related field
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience using CT and SEM-EDS in batteries, materials, or analytical lab setting
Knowledge: Strong understanding of lithium-ion cell structures, electrode materials, and imaging/spectroscopy principles
Functional Skills: SEM-EDS analysis, CT imaging, sample preparation, data interpretation, detailed documentation
Other Abilities: Critical thinking, collaboration, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
