For our state of the art dyehouse in Vietnam we are in search of a lab manager and colourist. You will be responsible for the technical operations and team management off colour lab and textile testing in the dye facility in Vietnam.
Responsibilities
· Lead colour lab, Development of new colour formulations
· Lead textile quality lab, conduct in-house textile testing according industry standards to support internal teams (e.g. Raw Materials, Production, Sales).
· Ensuring the laboratory and equipment remain in good operating order and establish and maintian best practices for testing and lab protocols.
Liaise with factory production managers and provide technical support to dyers and other colouring agent users;
Other duties may be assigned.
Yêu cầu
Candidate Profile
· Master's Degree Chemistry, Laboratory Science or equivalent in experience
· Affinity with textile manufacturing
· Knowledge of data colour software and colour lab experience
· Knowledge of textile testing, standards and best practices
· Awareness of local laboratory safe working practices
· The ability to present information well, both verbally and written
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Curious, engaged and willing to learn new technology
Willing to live in (or nearby) Ho Chi Min city
It would be a bonus if you have:
Experience with CO2 process technology and or equipment
Before start of work in Vietnam 3 month of training in the Netherlands will be required
