Landscape Architect

Reports to:
Principal of Vietnam/ Landscape Director Australia/ Project Leaders Australia/ Senior Landscape Architect.
Responsibilities
Production of accurate, effective drawings with minimum mark-ups by Senior Landscape Architect
Design development and documentation of various scale projects as part of a project team
Produce drawings that comply with Group GSA Standards
Liaising with client & consultants under the direction of project architect
Apply relevant legislative regulations, standards and other guidance as per project requirements
Complete and assess work against brief requirements
Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards
Design and document in compliance with Group GSA standards
Provide expert landscape design advice to GSA Architects as requested commensurate with the nature and level of the role in respect of landscape design issues.
Apply contemporary sustainable design principals and practices.
Analytical skills including the capacity to exercise sound judgment in developing innovative solutions to problems
Qualifications:
Degree in Landscape Architecture
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Client testimonial as demonstration of success relative to a similar role or past track record
Two year's work experience in a professional design office
Requirements:
Confident and persuasive with ability to work and communicate with Australian team via email, skype and video conference
Personal presence to establish team spirit and collaboration.
Good communicator, positive and pragmatic.
Operate as an effective motivated and positive member of a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to take team player role in an environment that practices skill and knowledge sharing.
Softwares skills:
CAD (AutoCad minimum REVIT preferred)
Proficient in Adobe graphic packages (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) as well as ability to potentially use programs such as Sketchup, Rhino or similar
Ability to sketch and communicate design ideas including Hand sketching
Working time:
9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, From Mon to Fri
