Role Description The Legal Counsel Intern will support day-to-day legal activities for EON TECH's operations in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in an on-site capacity. This internship role includes assisting with review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial contracts and internal agreements under supervision of senior legal staff.
The intern will help prepare and organize legal documents, support research on regulatory and compliance issues relevant to AI, data, and cloud services, and contribute to internal legal policies and templates.
Responsibilities also include helping respond to legal inquiries from internal stakeholders, identifying potential legal risks, and supporting cross-functional teams with clear, practical legal guidance.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge of Law and ability to analyze legal issues in a business and technology context.
Ability to support Contract Negotiation, including reviewing terms, identifying risks, and proposing alternatives.
Experience or training in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing contracts and legal correspondence.
Capacity to assist in identifying and assessing Legal Issues and provide clear, structured Legal Advice under supervision.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a law degree (LL.B or equivalent); focus on commercial, corporate, technology, or IP law is an advantage.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
Interest in technology, AI, data protection, and regulatory compliance; prior exposure to these topics is beneficial.
Professional proficiency in English; Vietnamese language skills are an advantage.
