COMPANY OVERVIEW
Metasource is a multi-country HR and business services company providing Employer of Record (EOR), payroll, recruitment, compliance, and business support services across Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia.
We are seeking a Legal Assistant/Operation Executive with experience in corporate legal advisory and Vietnamese business law to support our legal and compliance operations. This role will be responsible for legal research, contract review and drafting, client advisory, and ensuring all business operations comply with the laws.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and verify laws and regulations (Investment Law, Enterprise Law, Commercial Law, Tax Law, Accounting Law, Labor Law...) to provide accurate legal guidance
- Provide legal advice and responses to client inquiries on investment, corporate, tax, accounting, and labor law matters
- Support FDI company establishment processes in Vietnam (both direct and indirect investment), including documentation preparation and coordination with licensing authorities
- Draft and review legal documents and contracts (employment contracts, service agreements, commercial contracts, NDAs, etc.)
- Ensure all contracts and business operations comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes and update internal procedures accordingly
- Work with HR, Accounting, and Operations teams to ensure legal compliance across all business functions
- Support immigration-related tasks when required
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, notaries, and government agencies as needed
- Maintain legal filing systems and documentation records
- Support ad-hoc legal projects and other tasks as assigned by the General Manager
Yêu cầu
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- Minimum 2-3 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house legal department
- ESSENTIAL: Demonstrated expertise in establishing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) entities (via both direct and indirect routes) and securing operational licenses (e.g., Retailing, Food Safety).
- Strong knowledge of Investment Law, Enterprise Law, Commercial Law, Tax Law, Accounting Law, and Labor Code...
- Experience with contract review and drafting
- Vietnamese: Native proficiency; English: Good reading and writing skills
- Strong legal research and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Eager to learn, meticulous, and detail-oriented in all work
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Client service-oriented mindset
Preferred:
- Proven track record of collaborating with multinational organizations or foreign firms within a legal consultancy or law firm environment
- Knowledge of immigration procedures (work permits, visas)
