About Us
Levanta Renewables is a renewable energy developer and independent power producer in Southeast Asia. We develop, build and deliver renewable energy solutions that work for each country in support of its transition to renewable energy, and do so in a sustainable manner while helping local communities. With a shared goal towards helping Southeast Asia realise its energy transition and net zero targets, Levanta is backed by Actis, a leading sustainable infrastructure private equity firm. We are developing 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia through M&A and greenfield development of C&I and utility scale projects.
Due to business expansion, we are actively seeking a M&A Associate to be based in Ho Chi Minh or Da Nang, Vietnam to join our M&A team. This role reports to M&A Manager, VN.
Role & Responsibilities
• Provide support to the team in matters related to commercial, deal and finance, including but not limited to budgeting, evaluating & executing new greenfield and M&A opportunities, as well as debt financing.
• Develop financial models for new opportunities and update/maintain financial models for portfolio assets, perform scenario analysis as required.
• Coordinate the due diligence workstreams as part of evaluation of investment opportunities.
• Perform research and analysis to evaluate and execute investment opportunities in the target markets.
• Assist in preparation of internal memos / Board papers for investment approvals and decisions, as well as presentations to the external stakeholders.
• Support the team in portfolio monitoring and other periodic reporting requirements.

Yêu cầu

Ideal candidate should possess:
• Bachelor's degree with preference to Finance, Business, Accounting graduates
• CFA is a plus.
• 3-5 years' relevant working experience.
• Fluent in English, Vietnamese is an advantage.
• Prior working experience in M&A, corporate or project finance, with sector exposure to Renewable energy, Infrastructure, Energy in the Southeast Asian context (especially Vietnam);
• Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to build complex models from scratch, meticulous with details, and accurate with numbers.
• Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, in English and Vietnamese. Can communicate complex and difficult messages in a clear manner.
• Ability to work well within a lean team and manage different workstreams simultaneously.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to learn quickly and independently, with strong analytical skills.
