Manager, CD&D - Pet Nutrition SEA

The Manager, CD&D - Pet Nutrition SEA leads innovation, optimization, and renovation projects for ADM's pet nutrition business in Southeast Asia. This role is responsible for developing nutritionally balanced pet foods, treats, and snacks, while also driving initiatives that strengthen production and development capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create safe, high-quality, and fully compliant products across all pet food categories. Collaboration with quality assurance, regulatory, marketing, and global technical teams is key to ensuring successful project delivery and alignment with ADM's global pet nutrition strategy.
Your Responsibilities
• Lead the development of new pet food innovations from concept to market launch as part of a cross-functional team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
• Apply ADM's project management framework to deliver the innovation pipeline in partnership with Marketing, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement throughout project execution.
• Define the resources needed for successful product development and innovation based on business priorities and market trends.
• Develop and maintain product specifications that meet the requirements of Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams. Partner with QA to ensure product consistency and uphold ADM's quality standards through close collaboration with production and testing teams.
• Work closely with Marketing to turn consumer insights into new product opportunities, and with Operations to scale up production, optimize cost efficiency, and resolve process challenges.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to implement innovation and technology projects across different markets.
• Build technical excellence by creating training materials, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
• Support product life cycle management by identifying improvement opportunities for existing products.
• Partner with the global formulation and procurement teams to identify and qualify new ingredients that enhance product performance.
• Support Marketing's customer engagement initiatives at trade shows, conferences, seminars, and customer meetings.
• Understand ADM's Pet Nutrition strategy and align all project priorities with business goals.
• Report project updates, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership on a monthly basis.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager as needed.
