Job Purpose
As a Manager/Senior Manager in the FP&A team, you will own and coordinate key Vietnam business-unit planning, management reporting and performance-management deliverables. A central requirement of the role is strong business variance analysis: identifying and quantifying material movements, understanding the underlying commercial and financial drivers, and translating them into clear, concise and decision-useful written commentary for management and Group stakeholders. The role covers management meeting packs, annual budget cycles and Group appendices, financial KPI setting and tracking, FPHV consolidation and financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, valuation and IFRS/fair value support.
You will consolidate inputs from Finance and business teams, review and challenge assumptions, ensure data consistency across submissions, and connect operating performance with financial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Performance & Financial Analysis
Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews, analyzing actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
Identify key drivers impacting revenue, profitability, cash flow, capital employed, gearing, and other financial KPIs.
Provide concise, management-quality variance commentary, highlighting business implications, risks, and required actions.
Challenge assumptions and ensure consistency across reporting and planning deliverables.
2. Management Reporting & Executive Support
Prepare monthly and quarterly finance and management meeting packs.
Consolidate inputs from Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Asset Management, and Investment teams.
Present financial insights, cash flow updates, KPI performance, and strategic recommendations to management.
3. Budgeting, Planning & Group Reporting
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles for projects and business units.
Coordinate assumptions, financial models, and cross-functional inputs.
Prepare Group reporting submissions, scenario analyses, and variance explanations.
Ensure alignment with Group reporting standards and financial definitions.
4. KPI Management
Coordinate annual financial KPI setting and scorecard development.
Monitor KPI performance monthly, analyze gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate, like-for-like performance tracking across projects and entities.
5. Consolidation, Reporting & Forecasting
Manage monthly business-unit consolidation and reporting processes.
Prepare Financial Highlights reporting and consolidated cash flow forecasts.
Ensure data integrity, reconciliation accuracy, and compliance with reporting requirements.
6. Valuation, IFRS & Fair Value Support
Support quarterly valuation reviews and external auditor discussions.
Prepare IFRS adjustments, fair-value calculations, and related financial analyses.
Ensure consistency between valuation outputs and management reporting.
7. Process Improvement & Systems
