Manual Tester (Junior/Middle)

MANUAL TESTER
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Manual Tester to join our software development project. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and testing across Web and Mobile applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze requirements and technical documents to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Test Web and Mobile applications.
Perform database testing and data validation using SQL.
Conduct API testing using testing tools such as Postman.
Identify, analyze, and report software defects with clear evidence and reproduction steps.
Communicate and follow up with Developers to clarify and resolve bugs.
Prepare and report testing progress and results.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1+ year of experience in Manual Testing.
Good ability to read and understand technical documents/specifications.
Proficient in test planning, test case design, test execution, and test reporting.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
Experience testing both Web and Mobile applications.
Experience working with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or similar.
Proficient in at least one API testing tool, such as Postman.
Good bug reporting, defect analysis, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in problem-solving.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain is highly preferred.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
Experience with API, integration, or end-to-end testing is an advantage.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is a plus.
