KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key areas: Manufacturing process / Data analysis / collaboration / communication
- Develop multi-type metal components, plastic parts, CNC manufacturing, surface treatment, assembly or chemical treatment of Apple products.
- Mapping out process flow, selecting processing equipments, designing corresponding fixtures/slurries/wheels/sandpapers/magazines/trays, initiating DOEs to find out the best machine setups, cutter materials and coating process, mechanical polishing path and parameters, and finalizing the process solution from prototype stage to mass production stage.
- Be deeply involving in working on multiple customized processes in the scope of: CNC, Polishing, PVD, Chemical treatment, Sand Blasting, Anodizing, Super clean, Laser etching, Automation etc.
- Work cross functionally with Product Design Engineering to assess product features for manufacturability, and recommend capable production processes and equipment.
- Work closely with Cupertino-based MDEs in the development of above said processes
- A heavy emphasis will be on working with suppliers to define and refine mechanical tooling and fixtures, and establishing process capability and readiness.
- Coordination of activities and direction through clear communication between the Asia and US-based teams, and vendors is a necessity

Good written and oral communication skill, fluent in English. Enjoy and be willing to communicate actively with people
Have worked in industries related to manufacturing processes for more than 3 years, proficiently mastered relevant manufacturing processes, and have some understanding of other manufacturing processes
Good at various data analysis methods and tools

Key expertise: Project management / 6-sigma / SPC / GD&T / Mandarin
Have experience in project management, leading a team for some project development
Familiar with GD&T, SPC, 6-sigma and have experience in apply these knowledge in daily work
Be able to use Mandarin for communication
Ability and willingness to work independently and travel frequently (mainly in Asia)
Experience in AIML and lean factory would be a big plus.
Self-motivated & self-discipline, be passionate to learn new things
