PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
The Manufacturing Engineer - Grade 1 is an entry level position for fresh graduates with an engineering university degree. The role will support the Manufacturing and Quality departments with additional tasks and duties to support and improve FPC operations and meet production schedules and deadlines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist to ensure manufacturing lines are operational, functioning correctly, and properly maintained
Execute Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for tooling, material, and process changes
Learn interfaces of PLC tools
Learn and understand materials used in production, characteristics and finished goods
Ensure waste materials are discarded in their designated containers and properly managed
Assist with tech transfers of new product lines, setup, Gage R&R, and verification
Perform time studies to verify routings and cycle times
Setup and maintain gages
Understand Lean and Six Sigma
Understand and apply internal documentation including drawing, standard operating procedures, process specifications
Understand DFMEA and PFMEA procedures and processes
Understand ISO, CE, UL and other compliance requirements
Understand molds and encapsulation processes and characteristics
Develop a complete understanding of process areas, equipment, and support systems
Ensure process control plans are running as designed and expected
Learn SPC process control alarms and how to handle them to bring processing back into control
Develop an understanding of specifications, tolerances, critical features including their affects on assemblies and their designed functions

Fresh to 01year work experience
General electrical and mechanical knowledge
Hard working and a team player
Fluency in English and Vietnamese - spoken and written
Good written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office products
OTHER INFORMATION
Bachelor's or College degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
Other degrees would be considered, such as: Mechtronics, Electrical, Applied Physics
Studied computer aided 2D and 3D drawing, applications and use of software - AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or equivalent
Understanding of technical drawings, blueprints and specifications
Basic understanding and application of hydraulics
Basic experience with lathes, drill presses and milling machines
Studied Programmable Logic Controllers understanding application and programming
Studied statistical process controls
Studied software application programming in Microsoft or other technologies
