ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensure manufacturing lines are operational, functioning correctly, and properly maintained
Write ECOs for tooling, materials and process changes
Maintain and support PLC tools and equipment to ensure proper operation and data collection for SPC
Manage non-conforming materials list according to established criteria
Implement tech transfers based on an established plan
Design time studies to confirm routing, use results to improve process efficiencies
Design of experiments of gages and other quality metrics
Apply Lean and Six Sigma as a Green Belt
Assist with keeping internal documentation updated including drawing, standard operating procedures, process specifications, video training and written documentation
Implement DFMEA and PFMEA to ensure proper manufacturing procedures and processes
Ensure ISO, CE, UL and other compliance requirements are being met
Assist sourcing of tools and equipment
Design molds and encapsulation tools
Implement tooling designs, correct tools and molds when necessary
Design and maintain process routings, report and track inconsistencies
Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems
Respond to SPC process control alarms, then bring processing back into control
Assist the Quality and Production departments with questions regarding tolerances and what is critical to quality
Training junior engineers in all aspects of manufacturing engineering
Ensure compliance of safety at work and production environments
Ability to travel to the US and to suppliers or customers for support
GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensure that purchasing ERP entries, internal systems and documents are properly managed
Analyze risks and apply risk mitigation
Ensure priorities and deadlines are met
Ensure compliance at all times with company policies and guidelines
Contribute to continuous improvements of manufacturing
Attend training classes as deemed necessary by the company
Train junior engineers in all aspects of manufacturing engineering
Understand safety requirements, procedures, and compliance
Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Attend off-hour video conferences with US divisions
Always represent the company and its values in a professional and business like manner
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Manufacturing
Yêu cầu
Experience mentoring junior engineers
Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
Strong analytical skills and able to troubleshoot complex issues
General electrical and mechanical knowledge
Hard working and a team player
Fluency in English and Vietnamese - spoken and written
Good written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office products
OTHER INFORMATION:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical-Electronic Engineering, Mechtronics Engineering (preferred)
Other degrees would be considered such as:, Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Mechanical, Applied Physics
2 or more years work experience in manufacturing, quality assurance and control techniques, product reliability and test procedures
