Job Purpose
Be responsible for the continuous QLTC improvement of 'mass (volume) production' SMD product.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Be responsible for the continuous QLTC improvement of 'mass (volume) production' SMD product.
Tasks
• Responsible for the handover of NPI projects and EC's with proven QLTC process targets to Volume production.
• Update and improve the Engineering files for SMD parts - improvements and EC's, including risk analysis, hours estimation, BOM, WI & checklist and process qualification program.
• Interface with workshop to continually improving existing (Volume) manufacturing processes, tooling or documentations, review and optimize existing process control plans to improve man-efficiency, costs, delivery and safety (LEAN, CPR, CTR).
• Follow-through with consolidation and analysis of production data in order to assess the effectiveness of these quality improvement initiatives. Provide technical support/expertise to workshop in problem troubleshooting.
• Interface with Quality assurance team to execute in-process checking, solve the problem and provide RCA, CAPA to customer quality complaints or in-process quality defects/ findings (PDCA).
• Cooperative work with other functional teams in assessing new vendor and setting up new facilities and process.
• Develop and Conduct training including technical, LEAN manufacturing concepts and tools to operational operators
• Participate in EHS related actions to improve plant safety in all areas
• Other job assigned by superiors
Yêu cầu
- Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university with Mechanical or Welding Engineer Background
- Technical Profile:
• Be proficient in sheet metal manufacturing process: Laser cutting, Bending, Drilling, Taping, and Welding
• Product knowledge expertise
• Problem solving techniques
• LEAN Manufacturing & Management Experience is plus
- Preference:
• Sheet Metal Technical Background. Have over 5 years working experience in fabrication manufacturing job
- Critical Competences:
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing & ISO 9001:2015. Familiar with AWS D1.1, D1.3, D1.2 & D1.6
• Initiative, innovative, energetic and problem solver;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Good sense in customer focus;
• Good at working on details with efficiency;
• Be flexible with business trip.
• Pro-active, open, honest and trustworthy. Able to work under pressure and work relatively long hours when necessary.
- Communication Profile :
• Fluent English both in oral and written. Chinese is plus.
- Computer Literate:
• MOS
• Auto CAD & Solid works or NX
• ERP (SAP or BAAN)
